2023 Junior Programming
The Portland Golf Academy at Colwood Golf Center is committed to growing the game of golf, especially with a focus on Junior Golf. That is why we are proud to partner with a number of great junior golf organizations, including The First Tee of Greater Portland, Oregon Junior Golf, PGA of America, and others, in order to provide a variety of clinics and events for Junior Golfers. Note that all events and programs listed below take place at Colwood Golf Center.
Our programs are led by PGA Director of Instructor, Jake Bader, recipient of the 2022 NGCOA Player Developement Award, 2020 Oregon PGA Player Development Award and the 2019 Oregon PGA Youth Player Development Award & PGA Teaching Professional Tom Mueller, recipient of the 2022 Oregon PGA Professional Development & 2019 Oregon PGA Player Development Award.

PGA Junior Golf Camps The PGA Junior Golf Camps is a golf enrichment program designed exclusively for the development of the junior golfer. Our camps welcome boys and girls, ages 7-16 (full day camps available to kids 9 and up), of all athletic abilities, golf experience, and competitive desire. Whether a child has professional aspirations, collegiate scholarship goals, or simply wants to learn how to play a round with mom or dad, each child enrolled in our camps is warmly and sincerely welcomed. 2023 PGA Junior League at Colwood PGA Jr. League allows boys and girls ages 17 and under the opportunity to learn and play golf as a team, all with expert coaching from PGA and LPGA Professionals! Kids wear numbered jerseys and compete in a team scramble format that builds confidence and encourages sportsmanship.
