Frequently Asked Questions About Booking an Event:

 Are there any Required Deposits?
In order to book & secure your date, 50% of the room rental fee is required at the time of booking.  This can be paid in the form of cash, check, or credit card. 
In addition, and separate from the aformentioned room fee deposit, a $250 security deposit is also required.  The security deposit is due in the form of cash or check (payable to Colwood Golf Center).  The security deposit is fully refundable provided the venue is left clean and in the same condition as you arrived.

When is the Event Balance Due?
Your final bill for all event fees is due 2 weeks prior to your event date.  At this time, your guest count and all rental needs will be final.  
Any hosted food or beverage items (i.e. bar tabs, etc.) are due on the day of your event before the conclusion of the event.  

What is the 22% Service Charge?
A service charge is added to all event fees in order to compensate our professional staff for their extrodinary work preparing, facilitating, and servicing our event clients' needs.

How Accessible is the Venue?
The venue is wheelchair and stroller accessible. An accessible restroom is also available.

Do I Have to Clean Up after my Event?
Yes. All decorations and trash must be removed from the space within the permitted time period; should staff find it necessary to perform additional cleanup or repair damage upon your departure, you will be billed for these costs.  These fees will be deducted from your $250 security deposit.  Any additional damages beyond $250 will be billed to you and due immediately.

Can I Post Signs for my Event?
Free standing directional signs related to the event are permitted and are to be removed immediately after the event. Affixing directional signage to the property is prohibited.  Any signage that is brought into the venue must be removed at the conclusion of the event.

Are Candles Allowed for my Event?
All open flames are prohibited, including torches, fires, candles, sparklers, and other sources.  The only exception are tea lights or votives that are fully placed inside of the candle holder.
